DMK MLA threatens car dealership CEO, book

Chennai: Tambaram Metropolis Police on Wednesday booked DMK MLA, SR Raja, over trespassing costs and prison intimidation mostly based on a complaint by a top government from a car company Subsidiary at Singaperumal Koil, 40 km from Chennai.

A video of the legislator using vulgar language towards an organized government and threatening to physically harm him went viral on social media. Later in the day, the CEO of banned non-public Daejung Moparts, Krishnamoorthy filed a complaint with the police with video proof after which the Legal Aid Act was booked.

Police sources stated that SR Raja had infringement on the company on Wednesday afternoon to arbitrate a complaint filed by the company’s management towards its former General Manager, RK Sharma, for which the FIR was registered by the Maraimalai Police Nagar.

Sharma allegedly embezzled and withdrew company funds, which was revealed under a forensic audit. The company has been operating for more than 4 many years and has around 120 workers.

According to a DMK MLA Police Officer, Raja came to the company and threatened that “the company will shut down and ask them to vacate.

Tambaram Police have booked SR Raja below Sections 294 (expletive language), 447 (jail abuses) and 506(ii) (jail intimidation) IPC are investigating.

Meanwhile, BJP Chairman Ok Annamalai tweeted, Viral Video.writes: “Within the DMK's Dravidian mannequin base, I'm thinking about what is the biggest risk to individuals – disruption of organization and order throughout the DMK base or regulations and order because of the DMK rule.”
