The NMMC India Swachta League will be held at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Bilapur on Thursday

Navi Mumbai Municipal Company (NMMC) has participated in the “Indian Swachhta League” introduced by the Central Authorities by establishing the “Navi Mumbai Eco Knights”. Hundreds of young people, especially college students, will participate in a particular event under the theme of 'Youth vs. Garbage', on Thursday in Rajiv Gandhi Sports Complex in Sector 3A at CBD Belapur at 8.30 am.

The event was scheduled earlier on September 17th at Ganesh Tandel Floor in Nerol. However, due to the forecast of heavy rain, the event has been rescheduled for September 22nd at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Belapur. Mahadevan will likely be present at the event. In addition, famous actor Makarand Anaspor will be overseeing the occasion.

On September 22, a lot of occasions are intentional. A human chain hoisting the Tricolor from a civilian residence in Belapur to the Morag Circle in Sanpada on Palm Seashore Street is likely to be formed at 7.30 am. Members of the Women's Self-Help Group and Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari Pratishthan along with diverse charitable organizations and eco-loving residents are collaborating in shaping the human chain. Similarly, a marketing campaign for mangrove hygiene will be implemented at this event.
