WASHINGTON, September 17, 2022 – Valley Worldwide Chilly Storage Acquisition, LLC, a Harlingen, Texas, corporation, is recalling approximately 22,061 kilograms of frozen beef goods that Attributed to mis-branding and unauthorized allergens, the United States Department of Food Security and Inspection Service (FSIS) filed immediately. The product contains milk, an allergen, not declared on the product label. which consists of milk. These items were produced on July 22, 2022. The following merchandise is subject to recall [View labels]:
- 9.25 oz. The cartons labeled “Wholesome Alternative POWER BOWER BOWLS Korean-Fashion Beef” with batch code “5246220320” and date “Oldest if used by” date 04-18-2023.
Subject of the goods to be returned, the quantity company carries “34622” on the carton box flap. These items were shipped to retail areas nationwide.
The problem was found when the manufacturer informed FSIS that it had received complaints from shoppers that the cans of Korean style beef contained a chicken-based product.
There have been no confirmed studies of hostile reactions attributable to the consumption of these goods. Anyone involved in harm or illness should contact their health care provider.
FSIS is concerned that some products may also be in customers' refrigerators. Customers who have purchased these goods are urged not to eat them. These goods must be disposed of or returned to the place of purchase.
FSIS routinely conducts recall effectiveness checks to ensure that recalling companies are notified of recall prospects and that steps are taken to ensure that the product is not available to customers.
